3. Where we get it

  • Directly from you, when you order, create an account or contact us.
  • Automatically, through cookies and similar technologies when you use the Services.
  • From our service providers and partners, such as Shopify, payment providers, carriers and advertising platforms.

4. How we use it, and on what legal basis

  • To process and deliver your order, handle returns and refunds and send order updates. Legal basis: performance of the contract.
  • To provide customer support by e-mail and WhatsApp. Legal basis: performance of the contract and our legitimate interest in helping you.
  • To prevent fraud and keep the Services secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest and legal obligations.

  • To meet legal obligations, such as tax and accounting rules or requests from authorities.

5. Cookies

We use cookies that are needed for the store to work (for example, the cart and checkout). In the EEA and the UK, we only use analytics and advertising cookies with your consent, which you can give or refuse in the cookie banner and change at any time. You can also block cookies in your browser settings.

6. Who we share it with

  • Shopify and service providers working on our behalf: IT and hosting, payment processing, customer support, analytics, cloud storage, order fulfilment and shipping.
  • Suppliers and carriers, who need your name, address and phone number to ship your order directly to you.
  • Marketing and advertising partners, to show you relevant ads. They use your information under their own privacy policies.
  • WhatsApp (Meta), when you choose to contact us there.
  • Others, when you ask us to or consent to it, when the law requires it, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

7. Our relationship with Shopify

The Services are hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes personal information about your access to and use of the Services in order to provide and improve them. Information you submit is transmitted to and shared with Shopify and with third parties that may be located in countries other than yours.

We also use some advanced Shopify features that use information about your interactions with our store, other merchants and Shopify. For these features, Shopify is responsible for processing that information, including responding to requests to exercise your rights. To learn more, see the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and privacy.shopify.com.

8. International transfers

Your information may be stored and processed outside your country, including because our suppliers' warehouses are located abroad. When we transfer personal information out of the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, we use recognised safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK equivalent, unless the destination country has been recognised as providing adequate protection.

9. How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above: for example, to manage your account and orders, to handle returns and guarantee claims, and for the periods required by tax and accounting law. After that, we delete or anonymise it.

10. Security

We use appropriate security measures to protect your information, and the checkout is encrypted. No system is completely secure, so please do not send us card numbers or passwords by e-mail or WhatsApp.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Delete your information.
  • Portability: receive a copy of your information or have it sent to another company.
  • Manage communications: unsubscribe from promotional e-mails at any time using the link in each e-mail. We may still send you messages about your orders.

Additional rights in the EEA and the UK

  • Object to or restrict processing, including at any time for direct marketing.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that took place before.
  • Complain to a data protection authority (see section 13).

United States, including California

Depending on your state, you may have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information and of its use for "targeted advertising", as defined by local privacy laws. You can make this request on our Do not sell or share my personal information page.

If you visit our website with the Global Privacy Control signal enabled in your browser, we automatically treat it as an opt-out request for that browser and device, depending on where you live. If we can link that device to a Shopify account, the request also applies to the account. Learn more at globalprivacycontrol.org. Apart from Global Privacy Control, we do not currently respond to other "Do Not Track" signals.

We have no actual knowledge that we sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

How to exercise your rights

Use the options available in the Services or contact us at suporte@storefut7.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You may appoint an authorised agent to make a request for you; we will ask for proof of authorisation. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. We reply within the time required by law (in the EEA and UK, normally within one month).

These rights are not absolute and may be limited by law. For processing that Shopify carries out as controller, you can also contact Shopify through privacy.shopify.com.

12. Children

The Services are not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under the age set by the law of your country. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Complaints

If you have a complaint about how we handle your personal information, please contact us first. You can also complain to the data protection authority of your country. In the EEA, you can find the list of authorities on the European Data Protection Board website. In Portugal, the authority is the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD).

14. Links to other websites

The Services may contain links to websites we do not control. Please read their own privacy policies. Information you share in public spaces, such as social networks, may be visible to others.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will publish the new version on this page with a new "Last updated" date and give notice where the law requires it.
